Keys inside the car or a remote that will not respond
Tell us whether the key is visible in the cabin, locked in the boot or missing altogether. A flat remote battery, a faulty key and a car that has locked with the keys inside can require different solutions.
Provide the make, model and year, plus the vehicle’s location. We assess the locking system and select a suitable approach intended to limit the risk of damage. No opening method is guaranteed to suit every vehicle.

For a garage or underground car park, describe the entrance, floor and access arrangements. Do not force the door with improvised tools: this can damage seals, glass or electrical components.
Access to the vehicle must be authorised
We check that you are entitled to access the vehicle. Prepare identification and the relevant vehicle documents. If they are inside the locked car, mention this before the visit so we can discuss verification.
If a person or animal is in danger inside a vehicle, contact the emergency services immediately. A commercial unlocking enquiry is not a substitute for an emergency response.
Do you also need a new key?
If a working key is simply locked inside, unlocking may resolve the immediate issue. If no key remains, opening the door alone will not enable the car to start; key replacement and programming must also be assessed.
